I just found out about two prize figures of characters from an anime I like, Onimai, that are coming out later this year, but I am a little apprehensive of buying them. I feel like it might be worth it to buy the more expensive figures over the cheaper ones because the details are just so much better. Plus I live in Canada and shipping here costs an arm an a leg no matter what I order so it needs to be worth it for me to buy it.

I told myself I wouldn't get into collecting figures, as I don't want to go down that rabbit hole. Then you just had to show the Star Trek figures, and now I just ordered the Vulcan Science Officer, and pre ordered Uhura, that comes out in Oct/Nov. Hopefully they release the Medical Officer at some point. Saw it on eBay, but the price is way jacked up, so I'll just wait.

I have a number of kotobukiya bishoujo figures (Mass Effect Fem Shep, Wonder Woman, Bat Girl, Baroness from GI Joe, Cryska Barchenowa from Muv Luv Alternative). What I like about them is the high level of detail and lovely faces. The Star Trek one you just got resembles Yeoman Rand IMO.

I been getting those Star Trek Bishoujos, and I've never seen the Medical Officer. Never seen the Cliffjumper bumblebee variant either tho.
